Local Youth Initiatives – Contract signed with awarded beneficiaries from Niksic
The tripartite commission within the “Local Youth Initiatives Niksic” made a decision on this year’s winners of support. On 8th of August, 2017, contracts with beneficiaries are signed, regarding this financial support.
Awarded beneficiaries for financial support are following:
1. “We Can Do It” – informal youth group from Secondary economics and hospitality school, Niksic, with the project “KRIK – Competition in Amateur Film for Youth, September 2017” in the amount of 915,00 EUR (nine thousand and fifteen euro),
2. Club of young sociologists from Secondary economics and hospitality school, Niksic, with the project “Research on cultural participation of young people in the municipality of Niksic” in the amount of 630.00 EUR (six hundred and thirty euros),
3. NGO Center for Political Education, with the project “Win with a Dialogue” in the amount of 455,00 EUR (four thousand and fifty-five euros).The decision on the allocation of funds was made by the Commission composed of: Milan Korac, Secretary of the Secretariat for Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Care of the Municipality of Niksic, Sandra Vahtel (Representative of the Civil Sector in Niksic) and Kerim Medjedovic, in front of Local Democracy Agency.
The Local Youth Fund aims to support the initiatives of a smaller scale of informal groups of youth or youth organizations in the Niksic municipality, and it is being implemented for the second year in a row, with the intention to become a permanent “Youth Foundation of Niksic”
Funds for the Local Youth Fund were provided through the project “Balkan Regional Platform for Youth Participation and Dialogueˮ, funded by the European Union through the Civil Society Facility Operating Grants program to IPA CSO Association – Support to regional thematic associations in amount of 1700€ and the contributions of the Niksic Municipality – The Secretariat for Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Welfare – 150€ as well as the Monfalcone Municipality, Italy – through the project “Welcomes” funded by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia – 150€.
