The Sars-COV2 pandemic is  having an impact on current projects, especially when it comes to exchanges and travel. Thus, the interest of young entrepreneurs seeking the opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge has decreased within the XII cycle of Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, so an extension of 12 months has been approved, until January 2024.

The partners’ meeting was held on March 17 and the partners are entering the process of defining amendments to the contract. It will probably be suggested to shorten the stay with the host company that now is  maximum 6  months so that more young entrepreneurs have a chance to take advantage of this program.

At the same time , the Agency for Local Democracy is launching a campaign to involve as many young people under 35 with a business idea or start-up business to use this exchange program and gain additional knowledge and skills, as well as other business perspectives in the region, EU and Turkey as to  involve domestic employers to hire a young entrepreneur, gaining a fresh perspective on their business.
