REGIONAL TRAINING SEMINAR FOR YOUNG ICT ENTREPRENEURS 18-19 APRIL 2024

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Regional thematic panel in Subotica, organised as the project kick-off event gathering relevant representatives of three local governments, youth groups and business sector, local experts, CSOs, and local media. Local youth policies, employment and job creation for young people are the main topic of regional exchange and presentations of good practices.
After the regional thematic panel a separate study visit for the representatives of Niksic and Kumanovo local self-governments will be organized. Separate meeting of the representatives of three cities to discuss some key issues relevant to effective implementation of youth policies, local sustainable development strategies and job creation for youth, education systems, cultural programmes intended for youth. In addition, the aim of the meeting is to explore possibilities for further exchange among youth groups, business sector, tourism development opportunities.
Capacity building programme ICT start-ups for the young beginners (2 days, Subotica)
During 18th and 19th April, a tailor made Capacity building programme for youth groups included from three cities will be organized in the premises of Subotica IT Cluster, whose management team will be responsible for designing, preparing and delivering of the training programme. Training programme organised as a set of interactive workshops comprises the topics including Reviewing and refining business ideas, establishing a micro business in ICT sector: legal, financial, and ethical considerations, branding and marketing skills development, overview of entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities, market research tools. This two-day training programme will equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and tools to become successful ICT entrepreneurs and successfully establish and run a micro business. They will learn the basics of entrepreneurship, importance of ICT, how to evaluate business ideas, legal and financial considerations, branding and marketing strategies as well as managing and sustaining successful business in ICT sector. They will also receive guidance and support from experienced ICT entrepreneurs, owners of micro business located in Subotica IT cluster, guest speakers, and mentors.
